National Conference of SAP in Rimini
Presentation of New CESP Board and Strategic Priorities
On 6–7 October 2025, Rimini, Italy, hosted the National Conference of SAP, attended by 250 delegates from all regional secretariats. The conference provided a crucial platform to discuss key challenges facing law enforcement and to reinforce solidarity within the police union community.
A central moment was the presentation of the newly elected Executive Board of the European Council of Police Unions (CESP), outlining renewed strategic priorities focused on strengthening police rights, enhancing cross-border cooperation, and supporting the professional development and well-being of officers across Europe.
In his personal address, the newly elected CESP President, Massimo Denarier stated:
“As we face increasingly complex challenges, unity and cooperation among police unions are essential. Under our renewed leadership, CESP is committed to advancing the rights and safety of police officers through innovative strategies and steadfast solidarity. Together, we will build a stronger, modern and efficient European police force to protect the safety of citizens.”
CESP appreciates the continued engagement of SAP and the new Board committed itself to deepening cooperation with all members to uphold the highest standards of policing in Europe.
