As a regular practice for exchange of relevant information in time of pandemic situation of COVID-19, CESP organized its fourth Video Meeting on April 17, 2020. The Video Meeting was attended by the CESP members who discussed the current situation with COVID-19 and shared the latest developments in the respective countries, with a special emphasis on police protection, police rights and dialogue with competent authorities.

All concerns regarding police officers and current situation have been addressed and members reached a general consensus regarding support to those countries facing any difficulties in dealing with this delicate situation.

What was concluded on the Video conference was that countries need joint European approaches in resolving this situation, rather than national oriented contexts.
