The Congress once again brought together a large representation of public and private companies and institutions in the security sector. During the Congress, the German Union, BDK – Bund Deutscher Kriminalbeamter, member of CESP, had a stand.

The Congress was opened by the Minister of Interior, Building and Community, Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Horst Seehofer who, among many other things, referred to the exchange of information and the joint work of the police forces to protect the population.

The Congress strengthened the visibility and presence of CESP in the European police field and  many contacts with private companies, police authorities and European agencies have been made such as with the Director of the German BKA, CEPOL, and many others.

CESP has also established profound contacts with the Austrian union VKO – Vereinigung Kriminaldienst Österreich, which maintains a close relationship with BDK and, at whose headquarters, the last meeting of the anti-crime committee was held in Vienna.

At the end, we would like to thank our BDK colleagues, its president, Sebastian Fiedler, and the CESP deputy Hans Wengenmeier, for all the support provided during the Congress.
