CESP presence at the MPS event in N. Macedonia
As a regular practice in the Balkan countries, CESP delegation visited the Macedonian Police Union in the period of 8-10 September 2023, in Ohrid, N. Macedonia.
CESP delegation had a meeting with the Minister of Interior, Mr. Oliver Spasovski, who informed on the latest developments and progress of the Macedonian police regarding their socio- economic situation. The constant presence of CESP in the Balkan countries brings results in the improvement of the salaries and working conditions of the police officers, as one of the requests of the Unions in the countries, i.e. Republic of North Macedonia.
…In any democratic society, the police is entrusted with a sacred duty: to serve and protect the citizens, to be their first defenders of human rights. We are not just keepers of public peace; we are guardians of freedom and dignity.
This humanistic perspective is at the core of our mission. Through out that process we uphold the principles of solidarity, rule of law, and constructive social dialogue…
