CESP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, BILBAO

The Executive Committee meeting of CESP was held in the period from 13-14 November 2019 in Bilbao, Spain. The ECM was chaired by the Delegate of the Government of Vizcaya, the Chief of Police of the Basque Country, José Moisés Pérez Cornejo and the President of the Sindicato Profesional de Polícia, José Antonio Calleja Fuentes  host of the event.

After the opening remarks by the present authorities, the opening session started with the intervention of the President of CESP, Ricardo Valadas. The meeting was attended by the following CESP members: Albania: SPP SH, Germany: BDK, Cyprus: CPA, Spain: SPP, France: SCSI, Greece: POAXIA, Italia: SAP, Netherland: ANPV, North Macedonia: MPS, Montenegro: SUP, Portugal: ASFIC/PJ. Guests on the meeting were the Trade Unions from Romanía: EUROPOL and Croatia: SINDIKAT POLICIJE HRVATSKE.

The members of the EC of CESP discussed the items on the Agenda amongst which were the Presidency Report, Financial Report, Future Action Plan, Social Media Plan and the Voting for the application for affiliation of the Union Europol from Romania which was approved unanimously as a new member of CESP.

Also the members of the Executive Committee of CESP paid a tribute to the police officers victims of terrorism, especially from France and Spain.
